As i was making a random visit to Google Trends, I made this stupid discovery. The term "Eponychium" is currently being searched the most throughout the world, though i did not get any interesting info searching for the same topic (we understand that celebrity searches and news do get high attention, and they do still have a base, but i get know understanding whatsoever regarding this). Almost all of the search results directed to some site (like wikipedia, free dictionary, medical definition sites) containing a meaning of the term (its a medical term by the way). Some other posts were there too, containing nothing but the following terms: Eponychium, Earl Grey Tea, Daniel Moder, Yuan, The mexican, Bergamot; meant mainly for attracting traffic. Clever them!! However, now let me tell what i have found about the term (source: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eponychium)

The eponychium or cuticle in human anatomy refers to the thickened layer of skin surrounding fingernails and toenails.
The function is to protect the area between the nail and epidermis from exposure to harmful bacteria.
Beneath the cuticle is a thin layer of pterygium.
The vascularization pattern is similar to that of perionychium.

Ahh, if someone of you guys know something as to why this term is getting so much of attention, pls let me know too. I am totally in darkness.
